We are situated on the edge of woodlands on a hill overlooking Exmouth with stunning panoramic sea views . Our rooms are all decorated and furnished to a high standard, each one with its own artistic individuality. The architecturally designed lodge style house is set within seven acres. Landscaped gardens and pastureland with sheep grazing during part of the year are all accessible for guests to wander and enjoy.
On arrival guests can relax on our terrace or in their room with a welcoming afternoon tea and cake. Breakfast is served in our spacious guest lounge/diner with panoramic sea views . This room also has a comfortable lounge suite and a large flat screen TV/DVD, a full sized pool table plus books and board games to amuse.
We are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and walks can be enjoyed directly from Seven Acre Corner onto Woodbury Common. The extremely rare Southern Damselfly, Breeding Nightjars and Dartford Warblers have all made their homes in the surrounding area, just a stones throw from our property. During the summer more than twenty species of butterfly can be recorded including the Pearl-boarded fritillary and the Silver Studded Blue.
Charming Towns and villages nearby such as Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth, as well as Lympstone and Topsham well known for their wonderful views over the Exe estuary , all with their own selection of popular pubs and restaurants.
"Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had a great view across the fields to the sea. We were greeted with tea and cake upon arrival. We slept well in comfortable beds. We had a nice continental breakfast at a time to suit us."
"Lovely hosts - friendly but not intrusive. Great accommodation and beautiful location - very spacious - more like an apartment than a B&B. Thoroughly recommend without any hesitations."
